It is still cold, but spring is just around the corner, sending its slowly-quickening signals that life is about to emerge from its winter sleep, ready to create. 🌱
Valentine’s Day is also just around the corner. 🌹
In resonance with these two aspects of the season, tomorrow’s interbeing service is on the theme of Eros.
From a mischievous instigator of romantic madness in legend, to a symbol of creative fire, Eros wears many guises. It is a force both essential and risky, agent of creation and chaos, beauty and confusion, often relegated to the edge of cultural acceptability or pushed into the shadows.
For us, now, what is Eros? Where is it? How does it flow or get stuck? What containers do we each need to hold and free this primordial force, that it may create, transform, and bring beauty to our lives?
We’ll explore this ancient mystery together tomorrow our usual tapestry of contemplation, movement, dialogue, song and ritual.
Note: tomorrow’s service will be in the Gemeindehaus Hall at Schillerpromenade 16, not in the main church building.
