Sept 4 – Wholeness

Dear interbeing friends,

This week we have another special collaborative experiment: Elizabeth Debold and Thomas Steininger, who are leading the meditation and dialogue retreat at Moos, will co-host a service with us and the retreat participants.

The theme is wholeness.

Through their unique approach to meditation and dialogue, we’ll experiment with the possibility of entering what Elizabeth and Thomas call a field of emergent interbeing — a space in which we are both aware of ourselves as individuals and at the same time stewarding the mysterious potential of what’s between us.

This can give a taste of a kind of wholeness, from which other responses to the fragmentation of our world might be possible.

We will start as usual at 13:00, but this week we’ll finish at 15:00 instead of 14:30.

One important note: the service this week will be video live-streamed for those participating in the retreat online. This means we will be meditating with another 100 people or so, spread around the world — a new experiment for this experimental space!

See you on Sunday! 🌿

Aug 28 – Reciprocity

Liebe Interbeing-Community,

Was empfange ich vom Leben, was gebe ich zurück?

Hosts: Theresa & Carolin

Aug 21 – Love In Action

Dear interbeing friends,

This Sunday I will co-host our interbeing service with Jasmin El-Manhy. Jasmin is the visionary pastor who initiated the Startbahn project which runs the Herrfurthplatz church. She has been supporting the church of interbeing to exist in that space. I’m quite excited about this collaboration, and intersection of worlds and communities that it represents!

The theme this week is love in action. What does it mean — and what does it feel like — when love is not a noun, but a verb? When, as bell hooks says, love is a thing you do, not a just an emotion? As usual, this will be an inquiry that touches mind, body, and heart, and we will include a rather ancient experiential ritual of loving service at the center of our Sunday gathering.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday to continue this edge-walking experiment of finding the sacred space between worlds.

Hosts: Jasmin, Adam

Aug 14 – Compassion

Dear Interbeing community,

There will be an interbeing service this upcoming Sunday at the Genezareth Kirche, at 13:00.

This weeks topic is Compassion and you are invited to explore the art of holding compassionate space for yourself and others.

Can we create a space that embraces everyone? Is there a transformative energy in holding space? What is a regenerative space?

As usual, we will meditate, move, and dialogue together. Instead of a singing ritual, this time we will explore the sacred in a sound bath experience brought by a special co-host.

See you on Sunday!

Host: Vasi

Aug 7th – Stillness

Dear interbeing friends,

This week’s service will be on the theme of stillness.

In the midst of the rapid movements of summer, we’ll take some minutes to breathe, let go, connect, and explore what stillness can be within the motions of our bodies, our interactions, and the world.

After the service, we might gather in the Feld or the lawn of the church and have lunch together. If you’re so inspired, bring something to eat, or something to share!

See you tomorrow! 🌿

July 31 – Intuition

Dear friends,

There will be an interbeing service this upcoming Sunday at the Genezareth Kirche, at 13:00.

On this service we will explore the navigation system inside us that brings us clarity, trust and serenity. This embedded tool is hard to describe with words but it can be felt – as the sense of love and fullness of our life experience.

Is there really a compass that never takes on a wrong path?
Let’s access, explore and learn to listen to our Intuition.

As usual, we will meditate, move, sing, and be in dialogue together, exploring the sacred through simple ritual and community.

See you on Sunday! 🧭

Host: Vasi

July 24 – The Living World

Dear friends,

There will be an interbeing service tomorrow at the Genezareth Kirche, at 13:00 🌻 Pardon the last-minute invitation!

The service will be a simple one, on the theme of the living world.

What is the world that is older, more encompassing, more alive than the industrial civilization we live in? What does it mean to experience this larger world, and be in relation to it?

As usual, we will meditate, move, sing, and be in dialogue together, exploring the sacred through simple ritual and community.

See you tomorrow! 🌿

July 3rd – Simplicity

Dear interbeing friends,

This week Jana and Adam will host a service at the Gemeindehaus hall at Schillerpromenade 16. It will be on the theme of simplicity.

It will be a simple inquiry into simplicity, humbleness, and experiencing the present moment.

Our friend Julie Olberg, a concert flutist, will bring her music to the service.

See you on Sunday! 🌿
